Where do you turn when you need strength?

It’s easy to look to our circumstances, our own abilities, or the people around us for the strength we need. But Scripture reminds us that true, lasting strength is found when we seek the Lord.

God doesn’t simply want us to seek what He can give us. He invites us to seek His face—to draw near to Him, spend time in His presence, and know Him more deeply.

When we make His presence our priority, something begins to change within us. He gives us wisdom when we don’t know what to do, courage when we face difficult circumstances, and peace when our minds are overwhelmed.

And there is joy that comes from knowing we don’t have to carry everything on our own.

Whatever you are facing today, you can pause and seek God. His strength is available. His presence is near. And as you draw closer to Him, He can renew your heart and fill you with a joy that circumstances cannot take away.

Start your day by intentionally seeking God before you seek the demands of the day.

Spend a few quiet moments in prayer. Open His Word. Thank Him for who He is. Bring Him the decisions, challenges, and concerns that are weighing on your heart.

Instead of asking only, “God, change my circumstances,” ask, “God, draw me closer to You through these circumstances.”

When you seek His face, you will find that His presence is more valuable than anything you could receive from Him.

Gracious God,

Today I choose to seek You above everything else. I know that lasting strength is found not in my circumstances, but in Your presence.

Draw me closer to You and refresh my spirit as I spend time with You. Give me wisdom for every decision, courage for every challenge, and peace for every anxious thought.

As I seek Your face, renew my strength and fill my heart with joy that overflows into every part of my life.

Help me remember today that I do not have to face anything alone. You are with me, You are my strength, and Your grace is sufficient for every moment.

In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Seek God before you seek the answers.

Before checking your phone, starting your work, or facing the demands of your day, spend at least 5 minutes in God’s presence.

Ask Him:

“Lord, what do You want me to know today?”

Then be still, listen, and trust Him with whatever lies ahead.

Seek His face. Receive His strength. Walk in His joy.
