As this year comes to a close, we pause, not to rush ahead, but to remember.

Before stepping into something new, God invites us to reflect on His faithfulness through every season we’ve walked. Today’s devotional is a reminder to look back with gratitude and acknowledge all that God has done.

Today’s Scripture:

“Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all His benefits.”

— Psalm 103:2 (NKJV)

Reflection:

Before God calls us forward, He often invites us to look back, not with regret, but with gratitude. The end of the year is a sacred pause, a moment to remember how God has carried us through every high and low. Even in seasons that felt difficult or unclear, God was present, faithful, and at work.

Remembering God’s faithfulness strengthens our faith for what lies ahead. Gratitude shifts our perspective and prepares our hearts for the future God is leading us into.

Application:

Take time today to reflect on the past year. Where did you see God’s hand? Where did He provide, protect, or sustain you?

Challenge for Today:

Write down three ways God was faithful to you this year and thank Him for each one.

Prayer:

Lord, thank You for walking with me through this year. Help me remember Your goodness and faithfulness as I prepare to step into what’s next. In Jesus Name, Amen.

If this devotional blessed you, consider sharing it with a family member or friend who could use encouragement today. Taking a moment to reflect on God’s faithfulness together can be a powerful way to end the year.
