Today’s Grace Daily Devotional is here to help you start your day anchored in God’s Word. If it encourages you, share it with a friend or family member.
Today’s Theme on the day after Good Friday is “Trusting God in the Waiting”
Today feels quiet.
The cross has passed, but the resurrection hasn’t come. It’s a space of waiting, where hope feels distant and God seems silent. But even here, something powerful is happening. Today, we lean into trust… even when we cannot yet see the outcome.
Scripture to reflect on: Psalm 27:14
“Wait for the Lord; be strong and take heart and wait for the Lord.”
Devotional:
Saturday is the quiet day.
Jesus is in the tomb. The disciples are grieving. Hope feels lost. Silence fills the space where miracles once happened.
Have you ever felt that?
Prayers unanswered. God seemingly silent. Waiting without clarity.
But just because God is silent doesn’t mean He is absent.
And just because you can’t see movement doesn’t mean He isn’t working.
Saturday reminds us that God is still at work—even in the waiting.
Resurrection was coming. They just didn’t know it yet.
Reflection Questions:
Where in your life are you in a “Saturday season”?
How can you trust God even when you don’t see the outcome yet?
Today’s Prayer:
God, in the waiting, help me trust You. When I don’t see answers, strengthen my faith. Remind me that You are always working, even in the silence. In Jesus Name, Amen.
