Today’s Scripture

“I will remember the works of the Lord; surely I will remember Your wonders of old. I will also meditate on all Your work, and talk of Your deeds.”
— Psalm 77:11–12

Reflection

When life becomes difficult, it is easy to focus entirely on what is happening right now.

The unanswered question.
The difficult circumstance.
The door that hasn’t opened.
The situation that feels beyond our control.

But Psalm 77 gives us a powerful reminder: remember what God has already done.

God’s faithfulness is not limited to our current circumstances. Think back to the moments when He answered your prayers, opened doors you never expected, protected you in ways you didn’t recognize at the time, and gave you strength when you thought you had nothing left.

Yesterday’s faithfulness is evidence of who God is today.

When we intentionally remember His goodness, our perspective begins to change. Our problems may not immediately disappear, but our confidence in the One walking with us grows stronger.

Don’t let today’s difficulty make you forget yesterday’s miracles.

Application

Today, take a few minutes to intentionally remember God’s faithfulness in your life.

Think about three specific moments when God carried you through something difficult.

Maybe it was an answered prayer.
Maybe it was an unexpected opportunity.
Maybe it was protection from something you never even knew was happening.
Maybe it was simply the strength to keep going.

Write those moments down. Thank God for each one.

Then remember this: the God who was faithful then is still faithful now.

Prayer

Lord, when life feels difficult, help me remember everything You have already brought me through. Thank You for the prayers You have answered, the doors You have opened, the protection I didn’t see, and the moments when Your presence carried me forward.

Keep me from allowing today’s challenges to make me forget yesterday’s miracles. Give me a heart that intentionally remembers Your goodness and a voice that gladly tells others about Your faithfulness.

Help me trust You with what I cannot see because I can look back and see all the ways You have been faithful.

In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Challenge for Today

Remember one thing God has done for you.

Write it down, thank Him for it, and share it with someone who may need encouragement today.

Sometimes the reminder of what God has already done is exactly what we need to trust Him with what comes next.
