“He gives power to the weak, and to those who have no might He increases strength.”

Daily Devotional
Life has a way of draining us.
Some days the challenges seem manageable, and other days they feel overwhelming. The weight of responsibilities, unexpected setbacks, difficult relationships, health concerns, or simply the demands of daily life can leave us feeling exhausted and discouraged.
The good news is that God never expected us to carry life’s burdens in our own strength.
Isaiah reminds us that God specializes in strengthening the weary. He is not drawn to those who have it all together or those who never struggle. Instead, He promises His power to those who recognize their need for Him. When we reach the end of our own abilities, we discover the beginning of God’s unlimited strength.
Too often we believe we must push harder, work longer, or try more desperately to overcome our struggles. Yet God’s invitation is different. He calls us to lean on Him, trust Him, and receive from Him.
The strength God provides is more than physical energy. It is peace when anxiety threatens to overwhelm us. It is courage when fear tells us to quit. It is hope when circumstances seem impossible. It is perseverance when the journey feels longer than expected.
Whatever challenge you are facing today, remember that you do not have to face it alone. The same God who created the heavens and the earth is able to sustain you. His strength does not run out. His grace does not grow weary. His presence remains with you through every trial.
Today, stop striving in your own power and place your trust in His.
Prayer
Heavenly Father,
There are days when I feel tired, discouraged, and overwhelmed by the challenges before me. Thank You for Your promise to give strength to those who are weak. Today, I ask You to renew my energy, refresh my spirit, and lift my heart. Help me to rely on Your power instead of my own abilities. When I feel like giving up, remind me that You are the source of all strength and that You will sustain me through every trial.
In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
