Everyone experiences moments when they stumble.

Sometimes we fall because of a mistake we made. Sometimes circumstances knock us down. Other times, we simply become discouraged and wonder if we have the strength to keep going.

But Micah 7:8 gives us a powerful reminder: falling is not the same as being defeated.

The promise is not that we will never fall. The promise is that when we do, God is still there.

When darkness surrounds us, He is our light. When discouragement weighs us down, His grace gives us strength. When we feel like we have failed, He reminds us that our failure does not have to define our future.

You may have fallen, but you can rise again.

You may be walking through a difficult season, but you don’t have to walk through it alone.

God can use even the hardest seasons to shape your faith, strengthen your character, and draw you closer to Him.

Today, don’t focus only on where you have fallen. Focus on where God is leading you next.

Bring your failures, disappointments, and discouragement to Him. Ask God to show you what you can learn from this season and give you the courage to take the next step.

You don’t have to have everything figured out.

You simply need enough faith to get back up and keep moving forward with God.

Lord, thank You for being my light when life feels dark. When I stumble, fail, or become discouraged, remind me that falling does not mean I have to remain down. Give me the strength to rise again and the courage to keep moving forward. Help me learn from difficult seasons without allowing them to define me. Let Your light guide my steps and Your grace give me the confidence to begin again.

In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Rise again.
