“In the day when I cried out, You answered me, and made me bold with strength in my soul.”

Psalm 138:3

There are moments when we feel like we simply don’t have enough strength for what is ahead.

Maybe you’re facing a difficult decision, carrying a heavy burden, dealing with uncertainty, or simply feeling exhausted from everything life has placed in front of you.

Psalm 138:3 reminds us that our strength doesn’t have to come from ourselves.

David says, “You answered me, and made me bold with strength in my soul.”

Notice where God brings strength: within the soul.

God may not immediately change the situation around you, but He can strengthen you in the middle of it. He can renew your courage when you feel afraid. He can restore your confidence when you feel uncertain. He can give you peace when circumstances are anything but peaceful.

When you cry out to God, He hears you.

You don’t have to pretend you’re strong. You don’t have to carry everything alone. Bring your weakness to God and allow Him to meet you there.

The strength you need today may not be found in having all the answers. It may simply be found in trusting the One who does.

Think about one area of your life where you currently feel weak, uncertain, or overwhelmed.

Instead of carrying that burden alone, bring it honestly before God.

Ask Him to strengthen your soul, renew your courage, and help you take the next step in faith.

You don’t need strength for everything that might happen tomorrow. Ask God for the strength you need for today.

Father God, thank You for hearing me when I call upon You. There are moments when my heart feels tired and my confidence begins to fade, but You are able to strengthen me from within.

When I feel weak, renew my courage. When I feel uncertain, remind me that You hear my prayers. Fill my soul with a strength that circumstances cannot take away, and help me move through today with renewed faith and confidence.

Help me remember that I don’t have to face today in my own strength. Give me the courage to trust You, the faith to keep moving forward, and the peace to know that You are with me every step of the way.

In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Then take that next step with faith, trusting that God is with you.
